Invoicing, Rebates & Packages
An invoice is issued after every session. Andrea accepts cash, cheque and credit/debit card via EFTPOS. Some speech pathology services can be claimed, in part, as rebates. These include:
Private Health Insurance
Andrea Holland is a registered Speech Pathology provider. Parents and clients may claim their fees subject to the conditions of their private health insurance. Please contact your provider to find out your conditions and limits.
Enhanced Primary Care
Medicare will contribute to 5 allied health sessions per year through an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan. Requirements for implementation of an EPC plan include the following: Your child has a complex or chronic medical need OR the allied health requirement is written into a care plan by your GP. Please discuss this directly with your GP. If eligible, it is recommended for these plans to be in place before commencing therapy. Read More
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent
As of the 1st of November 2008, people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are eligible for 5 free allied health sessions per year, on referral from their GP. Read More
Autism Initiatives
Andrea Holland Speech Pathology is able to provide assessment and treatment services to children with Autism or any other Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD). Read More
Helping Children With Autism (HCWA)
With the launch of the Federal Government's' Helping Children with Autism Package, some free on-going treatment for children under the age of seven can be met through approved allied professional panel providers. Andrea Holland is a panel provider and happy to work with parents requiring these services. For more information refer to the previous link under Autism Initiatives.

Free Speech Pathology services are provided for Gold Card holders. Read More
Workers Compensation (Q-Comp Insurance)
If you have a work related voice injury, you may be eligible for treatment by a speech pathologist. If your employer has Workcover Insurance they can claim on your behalf. In the event of a voice injury, this would come in the form of a referral from a doctor organised by Q-Comp. Read More
